About Us

Hello and welcome!

We are Ele and Susan, founders of a wonderful little company we call Pixtorie. We're good friends, with lots of memories - and lots of great photos – between us.

The idea for Pixtorie came from our mutual realization that there was no product or solution that would allow us to effortlessly and uniquely preserve our memories that could meet our discriminating standards for quality and style. We knew that if we were feeling this void, others were too! We know people love the art of scrapbooking, but we discovered that many do not have the time, desire or creative inclination to take it up as a hobby. With all of this in mind, we quickly got to work on putting together the pieces of what makes Pixtorie so special.

Using her design talents, Ele forms Pixtorie’s creative vision. At varying points in her career, Ele has worked for a special events production firm, at an art museum and in the marketing department of a consumer products company. At Pixtorie, she has been able to infuse her love for craftsmanship quality and her keen eye for stylish, unique products throughout the full spectrum of our product offering. In addition to being Pixtorie’s style guide, Ele also has a graduate degree in business administration, so she actually does understand when Susan talks about business processes!

Indeed, Susan looks at Pixtorie through a different lens. Having worked for medium and large-size corporate organizations for a number of years, Susan has rich experience in analyzing business operations and implementing software and process design solutions to meet organizational goals. That experience, coupled with the current tedious nature of the mainstream scrapbook-making process, inspired Susan to formulate a methodology through which Pixtorie can deliver a high quality, personalized and handcrafted scrapbook at a fraction of the time and cost it would take to make one at home. In addition to being the brains behind the process, Susan shares a love for style and craft, as evidenced by her enormous personal collection of beautiful and unique paper products!

As you might imagine, the partnership could not be better. Our complementary skills and the stellar team we have assembled allow us to deliver an extraordinary product and service.
